What is CCYMCR?
Cambodia Children and Young People Movement for Child Rights (CCYMCR) is an independent, impartial, non-religious and non political network formed by Children and Youth led groups or organizations and individual child or youth as members working voluntarily for the sake of children in Cambodia.
Vision
We want to see all children in Cambodia aware and enjoy their fundamental rights as enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and live with hope to become responsible citizen for their nation.
Mission
In order to achieve this vision CCYMCR set the following missions:
- Promote Child Rights and educate children to exercise their rights.
- Monitor the implementation of UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Cambodia.
- Advocate the Government to adopt policies and laws to protect children.
- Promote Child Participation in matters concerning them.
- Strengthen and widen membership of CCYMCR throughout the country.
